Thanks for your thoughts. I’m curious how one arrives at a knowledge of natural right and how you achieve enough people coming to the same conclusions. Feel free to give a brief answer if you like or if not I’m sure I can look into it on my own.

Interesting thoughts and experiences.
As a psych major, you are taught, better yet indoctrinated, into abandoning “common sense”, “experience”, “wisdom” etc all such things are biased; as a student, you are meant to only follow the teachings of the god of the mind: the DSM.
Abandoning common sense is never a good idea, though being open to how it might lead you astray at times is.
What do you view as the founding ideas of today’s psychology? And what are the implicit goals of psychology? What kind of ideas have to be religiously ascribed to in order to get funding?
